Drassodes lapidosus – The Mouse Spider
The Mouse Spider (Drassodes lapidosus) is so called because of the colour of its abdomen; it is sometimes called the stone spider for its habit of living under a stone where it stays by its silken cocoon rather than a proper web.
The one below (if my ID is right) was under a flowerpot and on close inspection its bundle of silk held dozens of spiderlings.
