Andrena haemorrhoa – Early Mining Bee
This little beauty (Andrena haemorrhoa (Fabricus, 1781)) appeared outside my study window on April 8th 2014… the first new garden insect (that I have noticed) in my garden this spring. The third mining bee species so far.
